Oregon Humane

Over the past 150+ years, we’ve been busy! We operate two campuses—Portland and Salem—through which we provide a broad range of programs serving Oregon and beyond. While we’re known for creating joy for families through adoption, our programs and services also include veterinary care, education, humane law enforcement, and legislation. Each of our two campuses provide top-notch care for our shelter animals, including veterinary care such as vaccinations and spay/neuter, as well as any other necessary treatments. Our Portland campus is also home to our Community Veterinary Hospital, Behavior & Rescue Center, and Animals Crimes Forensic Center. Sniff around our website to learn more about all of the ways we make life brighter for pets and people. Or, come by one of our campuses to say hello to our animals and learn more about our work. We’d love to meet you! OHS Mission Statement We transform compassion into action, creating an ecosystem where all of us – animals and humans – feel safe, valued, and part of something bigger. OHS Vision Statement A world where all animals and humans amplify joy for each other.
