Every Organic Roof builds upon this legacy, using locally-appropriate plants to help buildings blend back in to their environment and also contribute to wider efforts to meet the challenges we all face adapting to a crowded, changing urban environment. This contribution depends upon the quality of the installation: great green roofs hold more water, provide better thermal benefits, and habitat for pollinators. But not all green roofs are well-designed or installed. We think that all green roofs should meet their potential, because by creating beautiful natural spaces that last we don’t just help the environment, we add to the well-being of all who use and interact with them.
