Organigro Pty Ltd

Organigro (Pty) Ltd. is a company in the vertical farming sector. What makes us unique is that we manufacture and install Controlled Environment Farming (CEF) systems. By doing CEF you can grow nearly anything inside your grow room than what you can grow in nature but in a third of the time because you can control everything inside for optimal growth. The main advantage of our growing system is the fast growing, year-round production and minimal space and water usage. Food security will be the greatest challenge to civilization this century, with food shortages leading to higher prices, political instability and mass migration, warn scientists, farmers and academics. The United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization estimates food requirements will double by 2050 due to population increases and higher living standards, all at a time of accelerating urbanization, land and water degradation and rising energy costs. Now imagine being able to produce a broad range of produce in a controlled environment in high density that out performs any other form of farming in terms of yield and nutritional value and is herbicide and pesticide free. Also imagine being able to place these strategically so that they are close to the markets in places previously not possible. With Organigro our vertical controlled environment farming technologies will change the way that farming leafy green vegetables is done
