Organizeup

Founded by Jim Macken and Doug Haefele, both former Field Organizers with Organizing For America in Wisconsin, OrganizeUp is a project designed to help connect organizers on the ground to those who have walked the same streets. OrganizeUp aims to ensure that the organizers of the future have a quick way of identifying the major players in their area so that, when the next election cycle rolls around, no one will have to start from scratch. We'd like to help new organizers by giving them the ability to reach out to the people who worked in their turf in the past. If someone is in a new turf, we are building a service that will allow that organizer to reach out and contact a past organizer who worked in the same turf. By facilitating that connection and conversation, new progressive organizers will be able to continue to build on past success and avoid past failures.
