Oriens Capital

Oriens Capital is a private equity fund focused on corporates in the $10-$50 million Enterprise Value (EV) range in New Zealand. We typically invest between $5m and $15m. Oriens Capital has made 6 portfolio investments from Fund 1 ( Rockit Global Ltd, Bluelab Holdings Ltd, Retirement Income Group, About Health Supplements, Rhino Manufacturing and IVS Group Holdings), as well as 4 portfolio investments from Fund 2 (Nautical Group Holdings and Van Dyck Fine Foods, PMG and TMG Cloudland). Oriens Capital successfully closed its first $50.5m fund at the end of 2016 and subsequently raised its second $100m Fund in 2021. The Oriens Capital Fund is targeting an investment space that is under-serviced in terms of access to equity capital and where there is significant demand for growth investment and replacement capital to aid business succession.
