Orient Rental Modaraba

The Orient Rental Modaraba (ORM) is a multi-purpose and perpetual Modaraba. It was formed by spinning off two of the core divisions, generator rental and operation & maintenance, of Orient Energy Systems (OES). The OES is owned by the major sponsors of ORM. OES is one of the leading engineering companies of Pakistan which was incorporated in 1996 by a group of engineers with an aim to provide seamless support to their customers in the area of power generation. Moreover, OES has won numerous national and international awards in providing industrial solutions specially in the area of power generation. It has a workforce of over 2,400 and has offices located in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan and Karachi. Some of the world-renowned brands of industrial products like GE Jenbacher, Cummins, Siemens Gamesa, Ingersoll Rand, Shanghai Electric, Bosch, Grundfos, Aquamach, SANY etc. have chosen OES as their local distributors/partners/agents in Pakistan. Being the distributors of GE Jenbacher in UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar, OES has managed to make a strong foothold in the Middle East. The notion behind flotation of Orient Rental Modaraba is to deliver a Shari’ah compliant business model that offers riba free income to investors. ORM currently offers turnkey solutions, inclusive of aftersales support and operations and maintenance, on rental basis pertaining to gas generators and diesel generators. The ORM wishes to diversify its business by adding commercial vehicles, material handling equipment, construction machinery, industrial and commercial equipment etc. in its portfolio. The equipment rental solution that ORM offers is on Ijara mode.
