As Orolavico is unique, the main difference between our basaltic stone and all the others is the way how lava stone properties evolve after the cooking process: it becomes, resistant to frost and stains, repellent to oil and water, acid-fast and becomes also a perfect thermal conductor, suitable for underfloor heating. Today, thanks to the progress and innovation, a new feature has been integrated to the Lava Stone: anti-pollution and anti-bacterial, both for the raw and ceramic finish versions, as the stone is carved by using laser nanotechnologies.
