We are a family dedicated to beekeeping based in Cyprus. Since 1983, we've been professionally engaged in the beekeeping industry and producing award-winning honey and bee products. Throughout these years, through our diligent efforts and a deep affinity for bees, we've nurtured strong client relationships built on a foundation of trust. We adopt a conscientious approach to the complete honey-making process, ensuring the superior quality and genuineness of our honey. The narrative of Oros Machaira honey traces its origins back to 1983. Michalis Filippou initiated beekeeping alongside his brother-in-law, Kostas Himonas, using five hives gifted by Kostas' father. For approximately three decades, they toiled with these fundamental principles: a passion for nature, bees, and their yields. Upon raising their children, they concluded that it would be more beneficial for the whole family to pursue separate paths. Thus, today, Michalis Filippou's sons manage the enterprise, producing an extensive array of bee products. These offerings are meticulously packaged and promoted under the brand name "Oros Machaira."
