Advertising, marketing, graphic design and public relations company, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Europe. OS Communicatie was founded in 1992 by Oscar van der Erve, after working 6 years at Ogilvy & Mather Direct, Schothorst & Partners and Euro RSCG in Amsterdam, for clients such as American Express, Lancia, Citroën, Renault, Equity & Law, Pearl, Bad Boys, Martinair, Canon, The Society Shop, OGER and Amnesty International. OS Communicatie became well known in the mid 90s for introducing new brands and products in the Netherlands and Eastern Europe for Unilever, such as Dove, Cup a Soup, Uno Soup and Vienetta ice cream. This century the company has been working for the Academic Medical Centre of Amsterdam / AMC, Lovells Law firm, Shield Mark, Hispa, Circuit of Zandvoort, Vrij Uit, Aer Cap Aviation, Sumisho Corporation Europe, SMBC, Sterck, Via Feria, Red Cross Hospital, ZACCO Europe, ALBIHNS ZACCO Sweden, WIDEX High Definition Hearing, MED-EL, Veenhuis Medical Audio, Italauto, Fidelio, Maserati Spares, Alfa Romeo Spares, GMT, Datametrics, DR2 and the Dutch Ministry of VWS. OS Communicatie was built on Oscar's communication principles, in particular that the most important function of good advertising is to connect, and that successful advertising & design for any product is based on information about its consumer.
