Osnap Architects

OSNAP Architects is an architecture firm based in Skopje, Macedonia. We are team of two ambitious and energetic architects Frosina Kajhanidis and Aleksandra Bozhinovska Janeva, both with high design and management skills acquired over the years as employees in several architectural biros and institutions in the country, as well as online work for foreign clients working on housing projects, hospitals, hotels and banks. The idea for OSNAP started when we worked together in a private company, in fact Aleksandra hired Frosina in 2014 while she was a manager in that firm. We have been in constant professional contact ever since. Finally, with the help of real clients and several other circumstances in March 2020, we officially launched OSNAP Architects. The name OSNAP Architects was invented by Frosina, on a traffic light while she was waiting for the green light; at the moment, it sounded interesting. OSNAP is a tool in AutoCAD that helps you to choose the right points and to draw precise lines. It is also the idea of the studio to select the right points (principles, ideas, regulations) when designing and to create a precise and concise project that will satisfy investors, designers and users. One of the most important principles in our design approach is to create a project that will satisfy the idea of the user (investor) but take it to a higher level. The solutions are the product of a complete understanding of the challenges posed by the client. Clients are part of the design process and we see them as collaborators who are fully involved in the creation of the final product. We further believe in the connection of architecture with the environment and hence integrate the objects in their context in order to form spaces in which life takes place not only in them but also around them, not destroying the environment but emphasizing it.
