Osteosite Fundation

OSTEOSITE FOUNDATION The Osteosite Foundation is made up of a group of twelve professionals from the dental sector from all over the state, specialized in different aspects of the field of dental implantology. The group is made up of dentists, orthopedists, orthodontists, all of whom are also specialized in oral implantology. The members of the Osteosite Foundation combine their professional work in their dental clinics with the teacher at various universities and faculties, masters and other types of training and the researcher. Our activity is focused on researching, disseminating and training around oral implantology. ORIGINS Born as a research group around a study club during the 2011-2012 academic year, made up of a group of Professors and Students of the Postgraduate Specialist in Oral Implantology of the Department of Stomatology I of the University of the Basque Country and united by Since the same interest in science, since then we have formed a forum in which we share information, carry out research and disseminate its results. Since 2014, these efforts have led us to open up the field of training and organization of seminars and professional conferences. At the end of 2017 the group was incorporated into what is now called the Osteosite Foundation. MISSION AND OBJECTIVES The objective of the group of members that make up the Osteosite Foundation is to continue with the research work in the field of oral implantology, especially in the field of biomechanics of implant prosthetics. Our ambition is to transmit knowledge, but above all, to generate knowledge. Thus, we continue on the path of developing research projects around Oral Rehabilitation, paying special attention to advances in materials, surfaces, charge transfer models and neurophysiological bases that allow function around a crown on an implant.
