OT Timber Frames designs and builds high-quality timber frame structures. Based in 150 Mile House in the Cariboo region of British Columbia, we work with locally sourced interior wood known for its strength and beauty. We collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and builders who value traditional timber framing alongside modern design and manufacturing methods. This hands-on, team-based approach results in durable, well-crafted structures built with care and precision. Our facility is a true one-stop shop for timber frame production. We purchase raw logs and process them entirely in-house, from milling and kiln drying to final fabrication. Timbers are milled on site, dried in our state-of-the-art low-temperature vacuum kilns, precision-cut on the CNC machines, and hand-finished by our team of skilled craftsmen. Keeping the full process under one roof allows us to maintain consistent quality and control at every stage. OT Timber Frames produces a wide range of structural timber components and prefabricated systems for projects of all sizes. From complete timber frames to custom structural elements, we work closely with architects, engineers, designers, and builders to ensure each solution meets the design intent and performance requirements. All projects are developed using detailed 3D models that guide fabrication and CNC machining. These models are shared with project partners to coordinate connections, resolve details, and align prefabricated and site-built work before construction begins. By fabricating components in a controlled shop environment, we improve quality, reduce on-site installation time, and support efficient, predictable construction schedules. Prefabrication allows us to deliver each project with accuracy, consistency, and respect for the material.
