OT4B (OxyTocin for Babies) est une start-up française, issue de l’alliance entre la recherche académique et une association de patients, dont l’ambition est de mettre à disposition le premier traitement précoce du syndrome de Prader-Willi (SPW). L’objectif de ce traitement par ocytocine est de modifier la trajectoire d’évolution des patients souffrant de cette maladie rare, en intervenant dès les premières semaines de vie. Le Professeur Maithé Tauber, experte de renommée mondiale et coordinateur du centre national de référence du syndrome au CHU de Toulouse, est à l’origine de cette approche thérapeutique innovante.
