Otarch studio is an architectural & creative studio based in Athens. Our design philosophy : Space itself carries all information and all inspiration needed. Persistence, accuracy and consistency to interaction with locus is the key to any spatial renovation. The studio was founded in 2015 by Ourania Tyliou - main architect and now occupies a group of individuals working on design and construction. My goal as an architect & designer is to develop to the maximum my aesthetical and conceptual growth, along with the capacity to deliver a detailed construction. For me, inspiring design and synthetical concept lies in the extended contextual and spatial analysis following the unique characteristics of each area that leads to the composition of a new architectural proposal. My inspiration lies on the research of new materials, experimentation on archetypal forms, challenging norms and typologies by shaping new ideas. Thus, each project is tailor made on each different space, born out of the conjunction between different spatial characteristics and each client's sole spirit and need. My basic synthetic tools are : honest expression of materials, clean lines, simple forms and careful use of light - these all together will allow space itself to thrive- Throughout these years we have dealt with diverse projects in all scales, such as design and construction of : office buildings, residential complex, single houses, pedestrian roads, parks. We also have significant experience in Interior design of residential spaces, restaurants, retail shops.
