Ottabotics
Ottabotics is University of Ottawa’s new, advanced robotics team. Ottabotics aims to learn and teach a wide variety of engineering related skills that can be applied in the use of designing and building robots. Over the previous year, Ottabotics has been working on projects such as a robotic recycling sorter which can autonomously differentiate waste materials and a 101 week drone set with a 360 degree camera set up, LEDs, and a confetti dispensing module. Over the course the 2016 to 2017 school year, Ottabotics will be working on three competition robots to compete in; International Autonomous Robot Racing Challenge, International Aerial Robotics Competition, and Roboboat in 2018.
