Ottawa Therapy Dogs

Since its establishment in Ottawa Therapy Dogs has strived to expand its core mission to provide and promote ethical and safe animal assisted interventions to vulnerable individuals and communities. Our qualified dogs and handlers serve people of all ages who are tackling a range of physical and mental health challenges at over 60 facilities each year including; hospitals, treatment programs, rehabilitation centres, schools and many more. Through our diverse programming, individuals have the opportunity to create a meaningful connection that provides a source of comfort, peace and relief to those in need of support. As a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization, Ottawa Therapy Dogs is supported by our generous community of donors and partners.
