Our Seas Our Future Charitable Trust

VISION Connecting New Zealanders with their coastlines, and inspiring communities to protect Aotearoa’s unique marine ecosystems for future generations. MISSION To raise awareness of the marine environment through advocacy, education, and research, and to support local action through positive change. The mahi of Our Seas Our Future (‘OSOF’) is to provide advocacy, education, and environmental marine stewardship for all New Zealanders’. As we observe the change happening along our coastlines so must we as an organisation change to ensure our mahi is meeting current and future stakeholder needs. OSOF’s volunteer-based model has been phenomenal in helping the organisation develop to this point, but demand from stakeholders and evidence from research is now driving change.
