Our Solid Roots Association

EMPOWERING WOMEN TO CONQUER SUBSTANCE USE AND BRING A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR THEMSELVES, CHILDREN, FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY SUPPORTING HEALTHY COMMUNITIES WITH INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION. A woman is our key entry point of contact for families and communities that we work with. From here, we reach out to the woman’s significant others who may also be struggling and needing support. However, these significant others, are also seen as key collaborators in supporting the client. The mandate of Our Solid Roots Association is to develop healthier communities and help women who are struggling with substance use to reach their goals of staying sober. Our Mission: We exist to provide long term support to female & LGBQ+2 substance use survivors, between ages 16 and 45 and their loved ones, post treatment to reduce the rate of relapse. Currently, Our Solid Roots Association (OSRA), is working to understand the challenges that expose these individuals to substance use, and the barriers and supports that exist within different marginalized ethnic communities, by engaging in discussions and stories from theses community members.
