Ourayandeh
About Ayandeh We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-religious, non-political organization created to understand and respond to the current needs of the Iranian diaspora. Ayandeh’s mission is to connect the greater Iranian diaspora through learning, relationships, and joyous experiences. Building on a Legacy In 2003, Iranian Alliances Across Borders, or [IAAB], became the first non-profit, nonpartisan organization to create spaces dedicated to “critical dialogue and reflection” for members of the Iranian diaspora. Not only did IAAB form an expansive network of Iranian-American students, young professionals, and community leaders, but successfully ran its signature programs—Camp Ayandeh and Camp Javan —for 15 years. The summer camps were intentional spaces for Iranian youth to affirm their lived experiences. IAAB and its youth programs sunsetted after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Ayandeh was founded in 2022 by members of the Iranian diaspora who personally benefitted from past programming and want to provide the same opportunities for current and future generations.
