Outbaking

Many Ukrainians have fled their homes due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, seeking refuge in other countries, including the United States. However, finding jobs has been a challenge for many of them. Outbaking is a company that supports refugees from Ukraine, specifically artisan bakers. Many of these chefs worked at some of the premier restaurants and bakeries in Ukraine. These bakers specialize in making traditional Ukrainian pastries. These sweets, called rugelach, are made from age-old recipes. Outbaking's mission is to help these displaced chefs introduce their baked goods to consumers worldwide, and to support them in integrating into their new communities. Every pastry purchased supports a Ukrainian family in buying the necessities for living and adapting to their new lives, as well as supporting their loved ones who may have been left behind.
