We're an independent veterinary partnership, providing Named Veterinary Surgeon (NVS)/ Designated Veterinarian services, expertise and training to the research community. Passionate about animal welfare, we work closely with Institute to help colleagues apply the 3Rs of Replacement, Reduction and Refinement throughout their in-vivo research, and to safeguard animal health & welfare, within an excellent Culture of Care. Drawing on many years' experience in the field in a variety of research settings and species, we bring a wealth of knowledge, good practice and an enquiring mindset to share with you. Working with researchers and animal care colleagues in progressive facilities, our goal is to promote great science and to optimise humane, ethical care and use of animals where their use is necessary. Qualified and experienced educators, we provide small-group and bespoke training and assessment of competence for researchers, animal carers and vets. Themes include legislation, animal care, technical procedures and ethical use of animals. Other courses include "Skills enhancement for trainers","Train the Assessor" and more.
