OwlCrate has always been about passion for books and a deep connection with the reading community. Founded by Korrina Ede and Robert Madden in Vancouver, British Columbia, OwlCrate began as a monthly subscription service designed to deliver hand-picked young adult novels to readers everywhere. Their vision was not only to enhance the reading experience but also to create a vibrant, supportive community around it. From these roots, a new branch has grown: OwlCrate Press, our very own publishing house. The decision to establish OwlCrate Press stems from OwlCrate’s long-standing aspiration to have a direct hand in nurturing and publishing stories that resonate with and reflect the diverse voices of our community. This new venture is a natural progression of their initial mission—to celebrate and uplift authors in an ever-evolving industry.
