Ozarks Counseling Center

The Ozarks Counseling Center is a United Way member agency that has been providing quality affordable counseling to Springfield and the surrounding community for over fifty years. The center is governed by our Board of Directors. The center was established in 1951, then called the Child Guidance Clinic, to diagnose and treat children with emotional problems. Later, help was extended to parents with their own emotional problems as part of the treatment of their children. Today, Ozarks Counseling Center uses the skills of its professional staff serving clients on an “ability to pay” basis. We are the safety net of our community for providing quality affordable counseling. No one is turned away due to inability to pay.
