As ÖZERLER HOLDING GROUP companies, we have been in rubber industry since 1940’s, and has started this business with rubber shoes and booths productions in Turkey. Within the group for rubber industry division, our company-ÖZERBAND became the major conveyor belt producer in Turkey. Indeed, we are the only steel cord conveyor belt producer in Turkey. As of 2005 with our new plant NEWKO BALKAN LLC, we have also been producing conveyor belts, v-belts, technical rubber parts, conveyor belt fabrics (EP; PP; EE), rubber boots and shoes in Kosovo. ÖZERBAND A.Ş has established in 1976 and started its exports with textile reinforced conveyor belts first. As of 1982, ÖZERBAND has started its steel cord reinforced conveyor belt production, and since then it is the only steel cord reinforced conveyor belt producer in Turkey. Located in Afyon-Turkey, ÖZERBAND has 72.319 m2 open area and 15.607 m2 closed area. Respect to current capacity report, annual belt production capacity is 454.836m2 and rubber compound production annual capacity is 11.024 ton. NEWKO BALKAN LLC, formerly known as Balkan Belt-Suhareke, NEWKO BALKAN LLC has established in 2005 upon ÖZERLER GROUP companies’ purchasing out of privatization. As a rubber industry integrated plant, Newko Balkan LLC constitutes of 6 production units: conveyor belts, conveyor belt fabric, technical rubber parts, rubber compounding, v-belts, and rubber boots & shoes. Conveyor belt unit produces textile reinforced conveyor belts, using its own conveyor belt fabrics. Located in Suhareke-Kosovo, NEWKO BALKAN has 155.107 m2 open area and m2 closed area. Annual belt production capacity is 619.580m2 with its 7 presses and rubber compound production annual capacity is 17.550 ton.
