P&m Carriers

P&M Carriers operate a mixed business combining several freight distribution agencies with local couriers, tax-truck hire and contract delivery runs. Our freight distribution network extends from Tully to Thursday Island and the western tablelands using well respected contractors as well as our own vehicles. Our clients include Airroad, Sadleirs, FNQ Freight & Couriers Please. Locally we are able to provide dedicated delivery & collection times as well as on call express courier services and specialise in larger items such as pallets. Our taxi-truck service is provided to the general public and industry alike with trucks and two man crews being hired on an hourly basis. A number of our trucks are fitted with tail-gate loaders eliminating the need for the client to have a forklift on site. All vehicles are equipped with protective blankets and straps ensuring even the most fragile item is well cared for. Each day we provide a service to Mossman / Port Douglas which departs Cairns around 10:30am and also another truck which travels to Kuranda, Mareeba & Atherton also departing mid to late morning each day.
