Paadarchitects

PaadArchitects is a small architecture studio in Tehran that started its activities in 2020 and was founded by Mohamad Yaser Mousapour. This studio is looking for increasing architectural opportunities to improve the quality of life. In other words, it is discharging and finding new forms of living. Therefore, PaadArchitects studio is interested in experimental work on conventional typologies of architecture. How to reveal unexpected capacities of life with studied and systematic modification? Hence, while accepting the simultaneous similarities with today's Iranian world, we focus on effective differences and asynchronicities to find manners to escape from the immutable and fixed patterns of designing in today's world. So, the implications of the form in the context of the program are so important for us. The form is a performative item that does something or makes it impossible to do something. Among the stereotypes that have stopped the form of architecture these days are the clichés related to air conditioning. These items determine the definition of indoor and outdoor without any negotiation or change. Therefore, challenging these items in order to increase the formal possibilities of architecture for contemporary life is one of the constant topics of PaadArchitects studio.
