The Company performs pre-construction, construction management, and general contracting services for its clients. Pacific Empire Builders was established by Dan Mahoney and Jason Tolleson in 2005. After hiring outside general contractors to build their first few projects, Dan and Jason determined that cost, schedule, and quality objectives would be more readily achieved by aligning the development and construction teams more closely. Headquartered in Pasadena, CA, Pacific Empire Builders is the preferred builder for its developer clients. Pacific Empire Builders is integrated into the development process early to collaborate and work closely with the architect and design consultants to produce the optimal design. During construction, Pacific Empire Builders works closely with the development team to identify value engineering opportunities and to minimize cost and schedule impacts from changes. By avoiding the pitfalls of the traditional owner builder roles, the Pacific Empire Builders and its clients work together to design and build high quality buildings in a timely, cost-effective, and safe manner.
