Pacific Northwest Pilates

Pacific Northwest Pilates has operated as a licensed STOTT PILATES® training center for over 15 years. STOTT PILATES® is the most respected organization for training Pilates instructors. Our studio is unique in several ways: The company's two owners ensure a strong movement science foundation. Leslie Braverman, STOTT PILATES® lead instructor trainer, transitioned to Pilates after an international ballet career. Melanie Byford-Young, STOTT PILATES® master instructor trainer and STOTT PILATES® rehabilitation programming developer, was a physical therapist in Canada. The course and workshop schedule offers multiple starting points during the year, with scope, flexibility, and variety matched by few other centers. We offer STOTT PILATES® Rehab courses as well as proprietary therapeutic Pilates workshops, attracting Pilates practitioners, PTs and other therapists from Latin America, Europe, Asia, and North America. A robust client studio—with 20 passionate, experienced and skilled Pilates teachers—means our certification program students also have access to equipment, observation time, and the insightful feedback of both owners and seven certified instructor trainers.
