Powerful Action for the Development of the Kadey uses the Asset Based Community Development approach in nearly 20 villages of the Kadey department (East Cameroon) to bring and raise up communities together through regenerative agriculture, education and individual empowerment. Our mission is to work with the residents of the Kadey, to promote improved economic self sufficiency, health and well being in the region. Our community already has numerous assets and skills that are sufficient to start and sustain long term development in the region It is therefore important to bring the community together to identify and use those assets first. We believe that all community development initiatives should always come from the residents and external partners should act in assistance only.
