Pakistan Environment Trust
The Pakistan Environment Trust (PET) is a non-profit organisation that exists to make Pakistan a climate-powered country of abundance. As one of the top 10 countries most vulnerable to climate risk, Pakistan continues to face an annual multi-billion dollar shortfall in funding for climate action. We partner with leaders from business, finance, government, and non-profits to deliver initiatives that are enabling the transition towards a climate-resilient, low-carbon, and biodiverse Pakistan. Our work is structured along 3 priorities:(1) Developing interventions to tackle Pakistan’s greatest climate and environmental threats (2) Assembling experts and practitioners in long-term strategic partnerships, and (3) Deploying global capital towards launching and sustainably scaling interventions.
