OUR STORY - MEET THE TEAM:"Small steps toward sustainable change" Palea Bamboo was created by Pablo and Lea, a young couple originally from Spain and France that realized the challenges faced by local environmental institutions struggling to raise funding and awareness to protect the environment. We started using bamboo-made products including toothbrushes when we realized how much damage plastic was causing to our close environment and climate change… Around 4 billion toothbrushes are sold worldwide each year, that’s enough to stretch around the world 14 times. Now we pursue our dream and want to make our contribution to a better Planet launching our bamboo toothbrushes. OUR VISION: Our goal is to contribute to a better world by taking small steps toward sustainability and offering alternatives to the mass consumption of plastic. We want to play a leading role in the market of biodegradable bamboo made products. We would like to keep producing alternative products for a better future. Palea has partnered with Ocean Wise to support ocean pollution research programs. OUR MISSION Over 7.6 billion people live on planet Earth and by 2050, that figure will have grown to 9 billion! Our growth and consumption habits are unsustainable for future generations. Changing our habits from plastic toothbrushes to bamboo may not seem like it makes a big difference but small steps towards a positive consumption habit could go a long way. It takes an average of 30 times for a new action to become part of a routine. Our vision is a world with less plastic and pollution in the ocean. We are all responsible and should act to protect our planet.
