Palesa Pads manufactures and distributes reusable sanitary pads which are made of fabric and can be washed and reused for up to 5 years. They are eco-friendly and do not contribute to landfill or block drains as with disposable pads. There are no harsh chemicals because you wash them yourself so this reduces the risk of infections and skin rashes. Palesa Pads sells directly to the public and also helps raise funds to provide pads to girls from disadvantaged families. Many girls miss 3 - 5 days of school per month because they cannot afford sanitary pads. Reusable pads provide a 5 year solution, supporting a girl through her entire high school career.
