PALETTE is Filipino and Japanese social enterprise which is the combination of ESL school and vocational training for deprived youths to be ESL teacher. We aim to create the society in which everyone can have decent works and their own ideal careers regardless of financial situation. The issue we focus: In Philippines, it is definitely difficult for deprived youths to have decent works mainly because they cannot finish their study in colleges or universities. Our main target is those out of school youths. Even though they have strong will and high potential, there is no opportunity to show it in the society and it's wasted just because they are poor in the financial way. We think this situation is "unreasonable" and desire to change it. What we do-Job training To give the opportunity to show their potential, we provide free skill and mental training for out of school youths. As of now, we have the training to be a ESL teacher. In the near future, we are planning to expand the variety of trainings so that we can adjust individual ideal career-PALETTE SCHOOL To make our training sustainable and to provide job opportunity for our trainees after the graduation, we have a ESL school which is called PALETTE SCHOOL as a profit-making business. PALETTE SCHOOL is mainly for Japanese students. How we do: To make greater social impact, we cooperate with NGOs and LGUs. The biggest partner is Gawad Kalinga. Our office and all of the facility is located on GK Enchanted Farm and supported in many aspect.
