Palisade Real Assets was established in 2021 and is a mid-market manager focusing on real asset investments that are adjacent to traditional core infrastructure sectors. These are investment opportunities that for many “fall in the gap” between infrastructure, real estate and private equity. Palisade Real Assets considers investments on a global basis and focuses on four key themes of digitisation, decarbonisation, urbanisation and logistics. Palisade Real Assets employs a top down thematically focused origination process that is blended with a bottom-up and targeted asset characteristic filter. The Palisade Real Assets platform is built around a high-quality team of industry and infrastructure veterans that bring a unique mix of backgrounds and experiences. Significant operational capability is imbedded in the team, with the c.15 person investment team complimented by a UK based development and operational asset management team of around c.45 people. Furthermore, the operational team drives substantial and unique deal flow, enables a focus on complex opportunities that have multiple value propositions and delivers economies of scale on smaller assets. The flagship investment platform for Palisade Real Assets is a Bioenergy Platform focused on UK anaerobic digestion assets and adjacent infrastructure. The overarching objective of the Bioenergy Platform is to own and operate infrastructure assets that capture and converts energy from organic waste into efficient heat, electricity and transport solutions.
