Palms

We are Palms. Palms is handmade through and through. Handpicked fabric that is silkscreen printed, and hand sewn into products. The two founders: Robin van Wijk is a Dutch graphic designer who recently moved over to the San Francisco Bay Area and Marie-Louise O'Rourke, Swedish American who moved back to the Bay Area to study communication. Beacuse both of them are fairly new to the area, this is where the inspiration for the brand and designs stem from. Especially for Robin, not having been in the US before, everything inspires him to make the designs for Palms. Palms is located in Oakland, and is screen printed in Berkeley. The fabric and materials are all bought in Oakland, and are ecological treasures all organic and recycled. Each design is very limited edition.
