Palumbo Shipyards

Palumbo was founded in 1967 and started its activity as small carpentry to support the local market of ship repair. Nowadays the group is a major player in the Mediterranean sea and in the Atlantic ocean. It operates with 7 shipyards located in Naples, Messina, Malta, Marseille, Tenerife, Ancona and a commercial office in Monaco. Palumbo is a leader for ship repair, conversion, refitting, offshore, new build and is certified ISO ISO 9001:1998, ISO It have been declared also compliant with the organizational and management model OHSAS 18001. In 2014, obtained the certification for the maintenance and repair of LNG carriers specializing in the transportation of liquefied natural gas from the GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz).
