Pando was born out of our immense love for the Transylvanian wilderness- founded by a handful of dedicated ecologists eager to stop talking the talk and start walking the walk. Our goal: professionally restoring to its original, biologically diverse state as much land as possible. Since its birth in 2017, Pando has kept itself busy, constantly growing and challenging itself. Here is a brief overview of some of our most recent projects-Establishing climate-resilient oak forests in the Ciuc basin -Restoring iconic Transylvanian wood-pastures to their original splendour -Re-foresting an area of 200 hectares ravaged by windthrow in the Hășmaș mountains -Creating urban green spaces in collaboration with municipalities.and much, much more!
