A Hong Kong-registered social enterprise, Pangyao - meaning “Friend” in Cantonese - is a one-stop resource and social platform for migrant workers in Hong Kong. The website Pangyao.HK was initially launched in November 2019, and offers a wide and growing range of features to its users, all completely free of charge. Pangyao believes that better representation leads to greater awareness and understanding, leading to opportunities to drive meaningful and positive change. Our vision is to become the leading resource for migrant workers in Hong Kong, through a process of consolidation, collaboration and promotion of fair and ethical practices. By serving as a content aggregator and working closely with those across the industry, aims to bring the migrant community closer together, encouraging unity, regardless of background, nationality or religion.
