Papel e Caneta is a nonprofit collective consisting of members of the creative industries, who work with activists to create empathy for overlooked or unfairly judged communities. Last year, we worked along black transgender activists in New York to launch #asktransfolks, a social platform designed to encourage the asking and answering of questions around trans issues. In one week the project reached more than 83 countries and was featured in publications and platforms such as GOOD, Fast Company, BuzzFeed and ATTN. More at friends.papelecaneta.org
