Since 2018, Paper and Word has been redefining the perfect book sleeve. Squishy yet firm. Sophisticated yet fun. The perfect companion for any book lover and something you can’t wait to show off. Our protective book sleeves, which now include sizes for the Nintendo Switch and eReaders, are made by hand in limited small batches. Occasionally these return by popular demand or at special events, but these small batches mean you can be sure to own something few others have! With new collections released every month, you will be able to find something that matches your favourite book, your aesthetic, or to add to your growing collection. Specialising in modern, beautiful fabrics, we curate each collection to fit the seasons. Abby started Paper and Word after beginning a job at a design agency in Liverpool… the 40min train journey meant epic reading time, but also meant lugging a book in her Kanken everyday started to take a toll on the tomes. It was impossible to find beautiful book sleeves with a good amount of padding in other stores or online, so she began to make her own… the rest, as they say, is history. Over the last couple of years we have added other bookish products such as candles, stationary, apparel and digital content to the store. Paper and Word is now a team of four, with all production still done in-house at their studio in the North West of England.
