Paraboot (assemblage de « Para », un port d’Amazonie, d’où est importé le latex, et « boot », la curieuse chaussure, que Rémy Richard, le fondateur, a découvert aux Etats Unis) fabrique des chaussures haut de gamme pour l’homme et la femme depuis 1908. Paraboot est une marque de la société Richard-Pontvert. L’entreprise a tout récemment inauguré son nouvel atelier et son nouveau siège au pied des Alpes, entre Grenoble et Voiron, à quelques minutes des ateliers historiques. Paraboot est une référence tant au niveau de la solidité et du confort de ses modèles, que de la qualité de ses matières premières, et c’est avec fierté, d’ailleurs, que Paraboot fait partie des ambassadeurs du savoir-faire « Made in France ».
