Parentguru

Parent Guru is a unique presence on the internet that was conceived by parenting expert, best-selling author and syndicated parenting columnist John Rosemond. The member website offers extensive resources for parents, where they can ask questions and get answers from John Rosemond and his personally trained Certified Leadership Parenting Coaches. There's also a column archive, online store, and other multimedia options. As you probably know, guru is an ancient term that refers to a calm, composed, authoritative individual who exudes commonsense wisdom. In this case, the ParentGuru is the parent we want to help you become—a parent who is calm, composed, and authoritative; a parent who parents primarily from the heart, intuitively and commonsensically; a parent who brings out the best in his or her children. We intend to liberate parents from the failed psychological parenting paradigm that came out of the mental health community in the late 1960s and has had American parenting in a stranglehold ever since; a paradigm that has created more problems for parents and children than mental health professionals even know how to solve (which is why most of them only diagnose and medicate).
