After years of treating eating disorders, we have found that those with the best treatment outcomes have a support system equipped with the skills necessary to fully support them in their recovery. At the same time, as treatment providers we have experienced how difficult it can be to devote adequate time to working with caregivers when so much of our time also needs to be devoted to working directly with the patient. This is where Parenting Through Eating Disorders can help. While you are working with the patient in individual and family therapy or dietary care, we come alongside the caregivers to support them in developing skills to practically handle their loved one's eating disorder as well as provide support for the difficult journey ahead.
