Parkland School
Kia Ora, my name is Rachel Holden and I am excited to be a part of the Parkland School community this year. I am teaching the fabulous Year 1 and 2 children in Room 5. Originally from Christchurch, I am a proud Cantabrian, but call Palmerston North home now. We are a military family and have lived all over NZ and Australia with the NZ Defence Force. I live on a small lifestyle block near Tokomaru with my husband Muzz, and 6 year old son, Isaac - we have a few sheep, 1 chicken and a stealthy cat! When I am not at school, I enjoy getting outside, travelling, and photography. I am extremely passionate about teaching and strive to create a wonderful classroom environment where children are excited and enthusiastic about learning.
