We from Vlijmscherp advocate for education where the student is in the centre. Hogeschool Utrecht should be a place where you can develop yourself, where it should not matter whether this is during or next to your studies. Unfortunately, it seems the colleges start to think performance is more important than development, we are absolutely against this development and will do everything we can to stop it. We are also committed to the well-being and overal welfare of all students. Major steps have already been taken in recent years by setting up a hotline for students and setting up a taskforce for student welfare, among other things. We want to develop this further in the coming year so that the psychological well-being of our students can be guaranteed.
