Pasifia - باسيفيا

Pasifia is a movement that aims to create a rapprochement between Jews and Arabs. It seeks to dispel prejudices and negative stereotypes, focuses on common grounds, and introduces Arabs to Jewish culture and its intellectual and literary movements. Several joint activities aimed at enhancing the efficiency of interaction are also carried out, along with articles, studies and reports that aim to manifest and analyze the culture and history of the Jews. Throughout history, Jews have been a pivotal part of the Arab identity and the demography of its region. However, political factors unreservedly isolated them and obliterated their identity, which made the Arab culture lose an essential part of its pillars. The movement is an attempt to revive this culture in the region. We also aim to cooperate, renounce political conflicts, confront the escalation of all forms of discrimination and calls for hatred and extremism, and limit their repercussions. We also look for the establishment of moral rules-based, not only on tolerance and coexistence, but the celebration of difference, and the deepening of the Arabs' appreciation for cultural diversity, along with the enhancement of communication methods which are prerequisites for achieving peace.
