Passivhaus Homes - history Passivhaus Homes has been formed from two companies, Williams and Partners and Cotterell Thomas and Thomas (CTT). Together they have more than 40 years' experience working in the built environment. Both have established reputations working on conservation projects in sensitive settings, where a careful, intelligent approach, paying great attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship are all essential. Passivhaus Homes - philosophy As built environmental professionals, we strongly believe that adoption of Passivhaus methodology and the Passivhaus standard are key to responding practically and effectively to some of the many social, economic and ecological issues that face us in the early 21st century. The Passivhaus focus on co-operative, careful and intelligent work by a properly motivated and appropriately skilled team appeals to us greatly. The emphasis on "getting the fabric right" rather than on the glamour of bolt-on techno fixes seems to us to be a better starting point.
