Patron Malaysia was previously known as Sumber Petroleum Productions, a subsidiary of Sumber Petroleum Cemerlang, which was used for sales of products of lubricants to certain countries and certain groups. However, now we are moving into Fuel Trading. We are formed as a JV between Sumber Petroleum Cemerlang(SPC) and Patron Oil Singapore. We are a majority-owned Bumiputera company. The bulk of our workforce is shared between SPC and Patron Malaysia. Thus, all SPC and Patron staff knowledge, experience and exposure in Oil and Gas, as well as lubricants, is also our company's experience, knowledge, and exposure. SPC import, manufacture and distribute a very wide range of lubricants serving various industries and commercial sectors. Their products are used in all makes of vehicles, commercial fleets, locomotive, marine, petrochemical, offshore, power generation and all types of manufacturing industries. Patron, on the other hand, trade, manage and distribute a wide range of fuel products through close relationships with end suppliers(refineries), re-sellers, other trading firms to ensure clients get what they want, when they want and where they want. Most of Patron's clients relate to the industrial sector such as marine shipping and power generation. Thus, with both companies exposure to many different industries and applications, we are able to share our trade network in order to supply our petroleum products but also supply lubricant products as well. As such by proxy, Patron Oil Sdn Bhd represents some of the World’s most renowned brands of both fuel and lubricants thus, catering for all types of industrial most stringent and harsh applications.
