Patternmaking is translating the sketch of a designer into an actual garment. A basic pattern has specific relationship of shape, angle and measurements. If the pattern is not correct the garment can never fit well. For fit consistency a block system is a key tool. It can help your company to accomplish the sizing vision, mission and goal. A 'block' is a basic pattern, which is made with the specific customer measurements for the brand.
