The Paul Ekman Group (PEG) advances the science and practical skills of emotional awareness, compassion, and deception detection. Founded by Dr. Paul Ekman (1934–2025), a pioneer in the field of emotion science, PEG continues to steward his legacy through evidence-based tools, trainings, research collaborations, and educational resources used worldwide. Led by Dr. Eve Ekman, PEG’s mission is to help people better understand themselves and others by translating decades of scientific research into accessible, real-world applications. Our work supports individuals, educators, clinicians, and organizations seeking to strengthen emotional intelligence, build connection, and navigate the complexities of human emotion.
